Free Indeed!

This book is an effort to give encouragement in the emotional hurdles we face in life. It points out some of the snares that can bring us into emotional bondage and rob us of freedom in the soul. It must be accepted that Satan tries to use these snares to rob us not only of our freedom but of our own soul's salvation.

It is an effort to understand and experience what Jesus meant when He said, "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed" (John 8:36).

All that is said is based on the conviction that God has answers for us in every area of life and that these answers normally lay in a serious sensitive, spiritual walk with the Lord.

Therefore, most of the emphasis is on suggesting practical ways that can lead us deeper into His ways. The Holy Spirit, the Word, the conscience, and the brotherhood of believers are all a part of God's provision for us in this journey. "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth" (John 16:13).

The author does not pretend to address all the hurdles that can arise. Neither does he pretend to offer all the answers to every possible problem one might face. He does give the reader things to draw from and suggestions that point to the One who not only has the answer but is the Answer!
